CHICAGO – For the seventh year in a row, Entara has been named one of Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®.
In order to be recognized, companies must differentiate themselves by demonstrating a commitment to excellence in their human resources practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are evaluated based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention, and more by an independent research firm. The evaluation includes an employer questionnaire and employee engagement survey. Each year qualification for the award is gets harder and harder, consequently encouraging companies to improve their practices and make the Chicago region a better place to live and work. Based on the results, Entara ranked above average in every category.
“We are so proud to once again be recognized as one of Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For,” said Entara CEO and President of Entara, Pamela Diaz. “This award is not only a true testament to the positive work culture here at Entara, but also the hard work of every person here who makes Entara great. As a remote first work culture, we strive to create a positive and inclusive workplace built on our four core values, Empathy, Excellence, Execution, and Evolution. These four core values are the guiding lights to maintain and grow our Entara Corp community and ensure Entara is a great place to work for all!”
A large focus of Entara’s application for this award was the firm’s new passion statement, “securing our future.” This statement focuses on the security of not only Entara’s clients and their own firm, but their employees and the wider community. As outlined in the award application, one way Entara is living this passion statement is through their Culture Committee, which is a group of Entara Corps members from multiple departments that regularly meet to discuss how they can make the culture at Entara even better. The Culture Committee acts as the voice of the Entara Corps and brainstorms and executes ideas, in partnership with the leadership team, to enhance the work experience of all at Entara. In the last year, the committee created campaigns to celebrate Women’s History Month and Black History Month, launched new wellness initiatives, supported quarterly giving campaigns, revamped Entara’s internal news show, and more.
